Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-05-12
TrustBoosts ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what
personal information we collect when you use our website https://trustboosts.com and
our review-management services, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you
have over it.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information. When you register an account we collect your
first and last name, email address, phone number (optional), and company name
(optional). Passwords are stored as salted scrypt hashes — we never see your
plaintext password.
- Order information. When you place an order we record your selected
package, your target business URL (e.g. a Trustpilot review page), and the review
content you draft. Payment is processed by our third-party processor (Shopify) — we
do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Communications. Support tickets you submit, replies, and any
correspondence over email or WhatsApp/Telegram contact channels.
- Technical information. IP address, user-agent, referrer URL,
timestamps, and basic device/browser information automatically logged by our
servers and by analytics providers when you visit our pages.
- Cookies and similar. A signed session cookie (
tb_user_sess)
to keep you logged in, a separate cookie (tb_admin_sess) for staff
access, and small analytics cookies set by Microsoft Clarity (see section 4).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide our services — fulfill review orders, deliver progress updates, and verify
statuses on the target review platform.
- Communicate with you about your account, orders, ticket replies, and important
service notices.
- Process payments and prevent fraud — through our payment processor and risk
checks.
- Operate, secure and improve our website — diagnose errors, prevent abuse,
and analyse anonymised usage patterns.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. Sharing With Third Parties
We do not sell your personal data. We share limited information only with the following
service providers, strictly to operate the platform:
- Shopify — payment processing for card transactions.
- Mailgun — transactional email delivery (account, password
reset, ticket replies).
- Microsoft Clarity — anonymised session analytics on our dashboard
pages to help us improve the user experience.
- Cryptocurrency networks (BTC/LTC/USDT) — when you choose crypto
as a payment method, we observe the public blockchain for the transaction you
initiate; no personal data is sent to the network.
- Telegram / WhatsApp — only if you contact us through those
channels. The conversation itself is governed by those platforms\' privacy
policies.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or to
investigate suspected abuse.
4. Cookies and Analytics
Our site uses two kinds of cookies:
- Strictly necessary — signed session cookies that keep you logged
in. These are required for the dashboard to function.
- Analytics — Microsoft Clarity sets cookies to record anonymised
session replays and heatmaps on our dashboard pages, which we use to find and fix
UI bugs. You can opt out by blocking the
clarity.ms domain in your
browser or via an ad-blocker; the site continues to work normally.
5. Data Security
We use industry-standard practices to protect your data: HTTPS for all traffic, HMAC-signed
session cookies, scrypt password hashing, restricted server access, and least-privilege
database accounts. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute
security.
6. Data Retention
We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. Order and
payment records are retained for a minimum of 7 years for tax and accounting purposes.
Support tickets are retained for 3 years after they are closed. You can request earlier
deletion of your account at any time (see section 8).
7. International Transfers
TrustBoosts is operated from servers located outside the European Union. By using our
services you consent to having your personal data transferred to and processed in those
jurisdictions. We rely on the legitimate-interest and contractual-necessity bases under
the GDPR for any data of EU residents.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
- Withdraw consent for non-essential processing (e.g. analytics).
- Object to processing or request data portability.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]
from the address associated with your account. We respond within 30 days.
9. Children\'s Privacy
Our services are not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data
from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please
contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced
on this page with an updated "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the
service after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
